You could ask your doctor to consider joining the network. Aetna is the provider network for theLM HealthWorks Plan. Your doctor can go to www.aetna.com, click on the Health Care Professionals tab and use the link provided to inquire about joining the network. Alternatively, you can nominate your doctor for consideration by calling 1-877-458-4975.Although members can access Aetna network providers nationwide under the LM HealthWorksPlan you have the freedom to see any licensed doctor you choose. If you choose an out-of-network provider, you will need to meet a higher annual deductible before the plan pays benefits for covered services, and pay a higher amount of coinsurance. If the out-of-network provider's charge exceeds what the plan considers reasonable and customary, you will pay the excess. You will also be responsible for paying the out-of-network provider in full when you receive care, then filing a claim for reimbursement.
