Yes. A Teladoc physician can refill your current medications by contacting your choice of pharmacy either via phone or electronic prescribing. They can also prescribe medication based on the diagnosis obtained from the call, including antibiotics (limited to short durations). Generic drugs are automatically recommended, if available. A Teladoc physician cannot prescribe or refill DEA-controlled substances, medication for psychiatric illness, or lifestyle drugs (i.e. erectile dysfunction, diet, smoking cessation).Back to Teladoc FAQs
