Preventive care is the name given to health care services that help you stay healthy or help detect early signs of disease. Routine preventive services as determined by the American Medical Association are covered at 100%. Examples include routine physicals, immunizations, well-child and well-woman care, and cancer screenings. The LM HealthWorks Plan typically pays 100% for covered preventive care services. The annual deductible and out-of-pocket maximum do not apply.It is very important that your doctor submit your claims with the proper Preventive Care codes for your office visit or Lab work to Aetna/LM HealthWorks so that they are processed correctly. Anything beyond routine preventive services will be covered under the plan at the benefit levels described in the benefits summary, found here.
