If you’re in an active course of treatment with an out-of-network doctor at the time you become a member of the LM HealthWorks Plan, you may be eligible for Transition Coverage.
When it comes to hospital care, it’s important to feel comfortable and confident. Once you’re enrolled in the LM HealthWorks Plan you can register with the Aetna member website and use the Hospital Comparison Tool to learn more about in-network hospitals. The tool lets you compare network hospitals according to the measures that mean the most to you, such as competencies in certain specialized or complex care or average inpatient stays.
Also, if you have a hospital preference, you can use the online provider directory to search for in-network doctors with a particular hospital affiliation.
From your Aetna member website home page, click Take Action on Your Health > Find Health Care > Compare Hospitals.
