Lockheed Martin is partnering with Teladoc to offer you and your family 24/7 acute medical care from wherever you are.
Teladoc is a convenient and affordable option that allows you to receive care from a doctor including the diagnosis, treatment, and even medication prescriptions (when appropriate).
Teladoc is a less costly, more convenient alternative to Urgent Care or the Emergency Room if you get sick while on business travel, or if it is the middle of the night and your child has a high fever. No matter where you are or what time of the day or night it is, you can request a phone or even a video consultation (in most states) with a licensed physician. Physicians are available all day, allowing you to receive care – including medication prescription (sent directly to your preferred local pharmacy*), if necessary – for a variety of acute medical issues such as ear infections, coughs, or sinus problems.
Teladoc doctors are U.S. board certified, licensed in your state, and average 15 years of practice experience. With your permission, they will even provide a summary of your consult to your primary care physician (PCP). The cost of your Teladoc consult can even be paid through your HealthFund, if you have sufficient credits available at the time of service.
LM HealthWorks Plan members can register for free at www.teladoc.com/Aetna. It only takes about 15 minutes, and saves you time later on the next time you use the service.
PLEASE NOTE: Teladoc is not intended to replace the care provided by your PCP, but rather to supplement it. If you are experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency, proceed immediately to the nearest Emergency Room.*You will receive a message via the email address on file at Teladoc (entered during registration) when your prescription has been sent to your pharmacy of choice. It’s always a good idea to contact your pharmacy to confirm that the script was received and filled before going to pick it up.
